When looking for fashion inspo on what to take to Bali, look no further than the Boho styles and luxe beach looks sported by some of our favourite travel bloggers. Travel bloggers have been spotted wearing some amazing fashion choices, from beautiful sarongs, jumpsuits and kaftans – all perfect for the gorgeous Balinese weather. Style on the island is influenced not only by the sunny climate, but also because of the culture. In Bali the women and men usually wear sarongs, these are scarf like pieces of fabric which are wrapped around the bottom half of the body like a skirt. Each one is different, and all have vibrant colours and beautiful patterns. Here are some of our favourite bloggers rocking their unique Bali styles.
Kiki @theblondeabroad
Kiki from Cali left her career in corporate finance to become a world traveller! She’s travelled to over 70 countries including Indonesia, Bali.
Whilst in Bali Kiki visited the Sacred Monkey Forest in Ubud, the beautiful Rice Fields, where she helped farmers plant rice and ended the day with a traditional bathing ritual and a massage.
We love her colourful Bali-inspired jumpsuit! These are perfect for cooler evenings and for visiting temples when you need to cover up your legs.
Jessica Wang @notjessfashion
Jessica Wang is a top NYC fashion blogger and Chinese American digital influencer based in New York City.
In Bali Jess visited the Tegalalang Rice Terrace Ubud and also many of the gorgeous beaches that Bali has to offer.
She bought this beautiful cotton two piece at one of the markets in Bali. It is bursting with colours and beautiful tiny flower patterns, paired with a chunky jewelled necklace! We love this relaxed beach style, which can be dressed up for evening wear.
Nadine @blonde_seashell
Nadine is a travel addict and is passionate about sharing her love for Bali! We love this image of her in traditional Bali clothing. The women in Bali usually wear white or colourful kebaya paired with a batik kamben which is very similar to a sarong, a sash tied around their waist and flowers in their hair. The colours look gorgeous!
Annette @fromannettewithlove
We LOVE Annette’s blog as a supporter of the Body Positive Movement.
When Annette visited Bali and the rice paddies, she wore this gorgeous colourful dress. At Bliss we love dresses as they are so easy to put on or throw over your bathing suit. Plus, they look fabulous! Make sure you have plenty of dresses packed – you’ll thank us later.
Mollie @wheresmollie
Mollie is an adventure travel blogger, photographer, videographer, creative and travel expert behind ‘Where’s Mollie?’.
During her tip to Bali she wore this beautiful embroidered blue kimono. Kimono’s are a flattering trend and a perfect addition to your summer wardrobe. They come in many eye-catching designs and you can throw them on over your swimsuit!
We wanted to share our Bliss experience as far as it can go and so we created Bliss News.
